Informational Item Departmental Reports:
For the Month of March, we had the following Electric, Water and Cable Outages.
Electric - There were 40 Electric Outages during the Month of March.
Water - There was 1 Water Outage and 1 Scheduled Outage during the Month of March.
Cable/Telecommunications - There were 10 Cable/Telecommunications Outages during the Month of March.
Water Treatment Plant - During the month of March, the Water Treatment Plant withdrew approximately 243 million gallons of raw water with an average daily withdrawal rate of 7.84 million gallons. During this same time frame last year, this system averaged 7.84 million gallons. The maximum daily demand occurred on March 30th with 8.88 mgd being produced on this date. Compliance with all Federal and State Water Quality Standards were maintained.
Safety - There was 1 OSHA Recordable Accidents during the month of March.
- An electric employee slipped on rocks while working on a hillside resulting in a twisted knee (restricted duty).
There was 1 vehicle accident during the month of March.
- An electric employee was stopped at a stop sign on Northgate Drive. A private vehicle turned onto Northgate From Holmes Street and struck the stopped FPB truck.
Customer Service - During the Month of March, approximately 14,769 incoming calls were received on our main number 352-4372. This was 1,678 fewer calls received than last month which had 20 days of call reporting compared to 23 days this month. The daily average of calls was 642, with 4 billing representatives and 8 CSRs available for calls. The average calls per representative, per day would be 53. These statistics do not include walk-in customers, direct dialed calls to the representatives’ two phone lines or any internal calls or after hours and weekend calls. These call numbers do include any calls received at our main number that were transferred to the Cable, Electric and Water Departments.
