Informational Item Departmental Reports:
For the Month of December, we had the following Electric, Water and Cable Outages.
Electric - There were 21 Electric Outages during the Month of December.
Water - There were 3 Water Outages during the Month of December.
Cable/Telecommunications - There were 11 Cable/Telecommunications Outages during the Month of December.
Water Treatment Plant - During the month of December, the Water Treatment Plant withdrew approximately 261 million gallons of raw water with an average daily withdrawal rate of 8.44 million gallons. During this same time frame last year, this system averaged 8.0 million gallons. The maximum daily demand occurred on December 21, 2005 with 9.14 mgd being produced on this date. Compliance with all Federal and State Water Quality Standards were maintained.
Safety - There were 2 OSHA Recordable Accidents during the month of December.
There were 2 vehicle accidents during the month of December.
- A security department employee backed into a telephone pole . Resulting in damage to an FPB van.
- A cable department employee backed a bucket truck into a private vehicle resulting in damage to the car.
Customer Service - During the Month of December, approximately 14,632 incoming calls were received on our main number 352-4372. This was 1,883 more calls received than last month which had 20 days of call reporting and this month had 19 days of call reporting. The daily average of calls was 770, with 4 billing representatives and 8 CSRs available for calls. The average calls per representative, per day would be 64. These statistics do not include walk-in customers, direct dialed calls to the representatives’ two phone lines or any internal calls or after hours and weekend calls.
