Approve Renewal of E! Entertainment to Basic Cable:

Staff recommends that the Board approve this standard National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) Agreement for E! Entertainment. In June 2005, the Board approved the addition of E! to the lineup with the provision that the initial term would be seven (7) years (July 1, 2012) even though the existing NCTC agreement only had six (6) months remaining. This new agreement has a term ending on December 31, 2010 but our original 2012 term will prevail. The license fees are within budgeted amounts to date. The Staff Attorney has reviewed the agreement and found it acceptable.
