Informational Item - Departmental Reports:
For the Month of December, we had the following Electric, Water and Cable Outages.
Electric - There were 22 Electric Outages during the Month of December.
Water - There were 4 Water Outages during the Month of December.
Cable/Telecommunications - There were 4 Cable/Telecommunications Outages during the Month of December.
Water Treatment Plant - During the month of December, the Water Treatment Plant withdrew approximately 236 million gallons of raw water with an average daily withdrawal rate of 7.62 million gallons. During this same time frame last year, this system averaged 8.4 million gallons. The maximum daily demand occurred on December 22nd with 9.26 mgd being produced on this date. Compliance with all Federal and State Water Quality Standards were maintained.
Safety - There were 0 OSHA recordable accident during the month of December.
Customer Service - During the Month of December, approximately 10,551 incoming calls were received on our main number 352-4372. This was 6,869 fewer calls received than last month which had 20 days of call reporting and this month has 19 days of call reporting. The daily average of calls were 555, with 4 billing representatives and 8 CSRs available for calls. The average calls per representative, per day would be 46. These statistics do not include walk-in customers, direct dialed calls to the representatives’ two phone lines or any internal calls or after hours and weekend calls. These call numbers do include any calls received at our main number that were transferred to the Cable, Electric, and Water Departments.
