3. Informational Item – Departmental Reports:

For the Month of June, we had the following Electric, Water and Cable Outages.

Electric - There were 57 Electric Outages during the Month of June.

Water - There was 1 Water Outage and 1 Scheduled Outage due to maintenance during the Month of June.

Cable/Telecommunications - There were 12 Cable/Telecommunications Outages during the Month of June.

Water Treatment Plant - During the month of June, the Water Treatment Plant withdrew approximately 274 million gallons of raw water with an average daily withdrawal rate of 9.16 million gallons. During this same time frame last year, this system averaged 10.6 million gallons. The maximum daily demand occurred on April 24th with 10.3 mgd being produced on this date. Compliance with all Federal and State Water Quality Standards were maintained.

Safety - There were 0 OSHA Recordable Accidents during the month of June.

There was 1 vehicle accident during the Month of June.

  • An electric employee drove an FPB pick-up truck into the path of an oncoming vehicle resulting in heavy damage to both vehicles.

Customer Service - During the Month of June, approximately 15,571 incoming calls were received on our main number 352-4372. This was 327 fewer calls received than last month which had 21 days of call reporting compared to 22 days this month. The daily average of calls was 707, with 4 billing representatives and 8 CSRs available for calls. The average calls per representative, per day would be 59. These statistics do not include walk-in customers, direct dialed calls to the representatives’ two phone lines or any internal calls or after hours and weekend calls. These call numbers do include any calls received at our main number that were transferred to the Cable, Electric and Water Departments.
