Approve (1) Establishing New Advanced Digital Cable Equipment Deposits, (2) Establishing New Rates for Premium Services, (3) Establishing Cable Card Rate for Digital and HDTV Service, (4) Establishing New Cable Advertising Rates for Spot Cable and Video Production and (5) Establishing New Residential and Business Cable Modem Rates Effective July 1, 2006:

A Public Hearing was conducted on May 16, 2006 for the purpose of receiving oral or written comments on the above referenced items. Three individuals were present at the Board Meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Carr and Mr. Tom Marshall. Mr. Carr asked the Board to consider the addition of Fox Sports Ohio to the Plant Board’s cable lineup. Mr. Marshall questioned the cable modem rates and asked about the methodology for establishing the rates. Staff has responded to both individuals’ comments and questions. There were no written comments received as a result of the proposed changes. Therefore, Staff recommends that the Board approve the proposed items as presented at the Public Hearing. The proposed changes will be implemented July 1, 2006.
