Informational Item – Reduction of Business Cable Modem Rates:

In June 2006, the Board established new rates for Business Cable Modem Service.  In the last 12 months, Staff has monitored the introduction of these new rates, reviewed operational costs, studied competitive service offers and communicated with customers.  Staff has concluded that a rate reduction can be offered to existing and new business customers beginning with the August 1, 2007 invoice.

The monthly rates below are for Business Cable Modem Service only and include available discounts for multiple services.  The lowest rate associated with a speed is for customers that subscribe to basic cable AND local phone service.  The middle rate is for customers that subscribe to basic cable OR local phone service.  The highest rate is for customers that subscribe to Cable Modem Service only.
