Approve Proposed Revisions to Job Classification/Pay Compensation Plan (JC/PC) as Recommended by Consultant and Staff effective 7/1/2007 (Implementation Cost FY 2007/2008 - $57,780):

Staff recommends that the Board approve the proposed changes to the FPB Job Classification/Pay Compensation (JC/PC) Plan effective July 1, 2007.  The changes are recommended following a scheduled review of the plan by Staff and the FPB Compensation Consultant, Paul Combs of Paul Combs & Associates.

The proposed changes will result in an increase of approximately .7% of FPB’s annual payroll.  The changes are reflected in the List of Authorized Positions on pages C-4/ 1-11, and summarized on pages C-4/12-14.

If approved, Staff will need to budget for the increases beginning with the 2007/2008 Fiscal Year Budget.
