Ratify Agreement between GRW Engineers, Inc. and FPB to Perform the Water Treatment Plant and Distribution System Evaluation Study ($37000):

On April 24, 2006 the Bluegrass Water Supply Commission (BWSC) voted to reimburse
the Frankfort Plant Board $34,000 for the costs incurred to evaluate additional treatment and delivery for 5 and 9 MGD. (See pages C-7/1-10-14 for BWSC Agreement)

Staff recommended to include in the study, the evaluation for an 18 MGD rate in accordance with the advertised RFQ for an additional $3,000 to be funded by FPB.

In an effort to expedite the study as requested by the BWSC, Staff met with Mr. Smith and presented the GRW Agreement for his review. The Agreement met the Staff Attorney’s approval and Staff recommends that the Board ratify the Agreement between GRW Engineers, Inc. and FPB executed on April 27, 2006.
