Informational Item - Bluegrass Water Supply Commission (BWSC) Update:

The last monthly BWSC meeting was held in Frankfort on October 23, 2006. The minutes (draft) of that meeting have been provided (see C-14/1-12).

No decision has been made regarding Kentucky American Water's (KAW) partnership proposal. The exploration of that partnership is being conducted by the Program Manager (O'Brien & Gere) but more information is still needed. On October 31, 2006, the BWSC sent a letter and list of discussion topics (see C-14/13-15) to KAW requesting a meeting to detail many key issues that remain unknown about their proposal.

The next meeting for the WSC has been scheduled for December 4, 2006 in Paris, Ky.
