Approve Addition of Great American Country (GAC) and RFD-TV to Digital Cable Line Up:

Staff recommends that the Board approve the addition of GAC and RFD-TV to the digital cable line up. The addition of these two channels will further strengthen our digital offering and it will not increase the monthly fee to the customer.

GAC - This standard National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) agreement has a term through December 31, 2010. The programming consists of 24-hour country music programming including videos, specials and live, weekly programs from the Grand Ole Opry. The license fees are within budgeted parameters and are contained in the detail section on C-7/1-2.

RFD-TV - This standard NCTC agreement has a term through December 31, 2007. The programming blocks are divided into agriculture, rural lifestyles, equine and music/family entertainment. The license fees are within budgeted parameters and are contained in the detail section on C-7/3-4.

The Staff Attorney has reviewed the agreements and they meet with his approval.
