Instructions for setting up
Voice Mail
and Call Forwarding
These features do not come standard with all calling plans,
but can easily be ordered by calling 352-4372.
Voice Mail
Setting up Voice Mail for the first time
- Dial 352-6244 (you will be entering the tutorial prompt for the voice mail system). Follow the tutorial to setup your mailbox.
- You will be asked to change your security code (initial security code is 9999).
- You will also be asked to setup a greeting.
- You will also record your name.
Playing Voice Mail Messages
- Dial 352-6244.
- Enter your security code.
- Press 1 to play messages.
Getting Your Voice Mail Messages Remotely
- Voice mail can be picked up remotely by dialing 352-6244.
- The prompt will ask you for your voice mailbox number. Enter your 10 digit telephone number plus the Pound Key (#).
- Enter your security code.
- Press 1 to play messages.
Your mailbox has room for 30 messages of 1 minute in length. 1 minute is the maximum length for messages. The retention period for messages is 14 days. After 14 days the messages will be deleted.
- To bypass the date and time stamp when listening to voice mail press #-# during message.
- To bypass date and time stamp prior to leaving a message press 3 during message.
Call Forwarding
Initial Set-Up for Call Forwarding remote access
- From the line you are forwarding, press *53. When prompted to "enter feature access code for PIN you wish to change" press *54 then #.
- To activate this feature you need to create your own PIN.
- When instructed to enter your PIN, enter 1234 then #.
- You will be asked to enter a new PIN, enter 1234 then #.
- You will be asked to enter a new PIN and verify it.
- Please note the new PIN so you can use it when calling from another location.
Using Call Forwarding remote access while out of the home.
- Phone number for call forwarding access is 352-2372.
- Follow the prompts to forward your number. You must enter the ten-digit number and your pass code.
- Enter the code to Activate call forwarding *72. Then enter the phone number to forward call to. (Ex. xxx-xxxx)
- Calls will then be forwarded from your phone to the number you programmed.
- To deactivate follow steps 1 and 2 above then enter the code to deactivate call forwarding *73.
If there is no answer at the number that the call is being forwarded to, the customer should repeat the process (hit *72 and put in the call forward number).
